Job Description
The Carlisle Group has been retained to find a talented Certified Financial Planner. Our client is a Registered Investment Advisor dedicated to helping others maximize their stewardship of God’s resources. This organization serves a growing number of individual investors, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in building a lasting legacy. They were founded in 1990 and are headquartered in Lancaster, PA. They also have offices in Naples, FL, and Binghamton, NY. They oversee approximately $800 million in AUM and provide all types of services to include wealth management, insurance planning, retirement planning, estate planning, tax-wise charitable giving, and family legacy. This is an opportunity to take over a book of business for a retiring financial advisor. This role will service clients throughout PA and southern, NJ. We are open to a person working in a hybrid capacity from a home office.
The Certified Financial Planner/Senior Financial Advisor plays a key role within the investment firm. This person will provide best-in-class customer service, investment planning advice, and stewardship counsel to clients. Key functions for the role are:
- Service existing clients and “mining” for new investment opportunities
- Onboard new clients to the firm
- Provide financial and investment planning advice and stewardship counsel to families, businesses, churches, and other nonprofit organizations
- Act as a primary liaison for many clients and offer support and service to others on behalf of the firm
- Handle a high volume of calls in reference to accounts and planning
- Meet with clients in person, over the phone, and via videoconference
Requirements
- 5+ years of financial advisor experience
- Possess Series 7 and 66. Strong preference is a professional with a CFP or would consider a professional qualified and studying for the CFP
- Ability to multi-task between multiple demands from clients
- Ability to learn/use Salesforce, Tamarac, and document management software
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills to include being organized, detailed, and efficient
